Berlin Museums: Martin-Gropius-Bau

 
Named after its architect Martin Gropius, the Martin-Gropius-Bau of Renaissance style was opened in 1881. Until the destructions during the Second World War, the building was a museum for arts and history.

Since its reopening in 1981, there are carried out great national as well as international exhibitions.
