Many of the main sights like the Brandenburg Gate or the Potsdamer Platz are located in the central areas "Berlin Mitte" and "Tiergarten", but also for example in "Kreuzberg", "Prenzlauer Berg", "Schönefeld" or "Charlottenburg".
To get around as quickly as possible, it is probably best to use the public transport system, particularly the U-Bahn or S-Bahn.
There are also offered sightseeing tours by bus which are recommendable to get an overview of Berlin.
